I mean, if we are all work from home, shouldn’t we be doing it from the best possible location? The Vizslas sure approve of this idea! While Marc obviously has patients in Denver and has to work in the office everyday, Jenny has the flexibility to work anywhere. So Vail it is! Schmav stays home to guard the house and keep Marc company, but all the Vizslas head up the hill with Jenny. We’ve had a great week up here getting in multiple walks a day, and some big hikes.
Schmav and Marc joined over the weekend and we have all benefitted from the cooler temps and fresh, mountain air. Saturday we did a long hike on the trail we found last winter. It’s seriously a new fave, and kinda fun to see some of the same landmarks, like huge fallen trees, without a glimmer of snow.
When we finally do get a vaccine for CoVid, the dogs are going to be so disappointed Jenny has to be home in Denver to have easy access to the airport again! But for now, we are grateful for a week in Vail as we headed back down the hill. And for one last mountain stop off, we met up with Jenny’s co-worker, Jenny for a hike in Frisco before finishing up the drive. It was so great to see Jenny and the dogs loved the new trailhead with an excellent swimming lake!
