With Halo in heat, our hiking is going to be a bit limited for a bit. Instead, we spent today readying the yard for the summer. The dogs LOVE it when we plant. Mostly because we are outside all day and they get to hunt squirrels and spend every second with us.
This year we decided to put lavender in our front planters. It was Indy’s favorite scent, so it’s our ode to Indy for the summer. We know catching its scent on the breeze will remind of us of our boy.
It should also go without saying that we always double check that all our plants (especially the ones in the backyard) are non-toxic to dogs.
