What an amazing weekend! This weekend, Marc’s practice had their annual Christmas party. Dr. Schindel always treats us to an awesome night, but this year was totally above and beyond! Not only did we get to see the Broadmoor Christmas spectacular, but we got a night at the 5 star hotel too! Jenny was signed up to Secretary assist for the Palmer Divide Agility Club trial this weekend, and since the Broadmoor is just South of the fairgrounds (Castle Rock) we had Karmie stay with us too. Indy, Schmav, and Halo had their friend Caitlin come babysit, so we were all set!
Karma LOVED the Broadmoor. She made friends with all the doormen and loved the bag of treats they gave her upon check in. It was an amazing evening of luxury and we feel so blessed to have Dr. and Mrs. Schindel in our lives — their generosity is second to none, but they are really just great friends and positive role models.
We wrapped up the weekend with a very spectacular Jumpers run. Karma notched 17 MACH points and a 2nd place ribbon. It felt GREAT after taking all that time (6 weeks from agility!) off to wrap up Karma’s Senior Hunter title. We were a little out of sync this weekend, but definitely got our groove back!
