Our little pumpkin is such a big girl! Karma has changed so much physically since she just had her first heat cycle. She looks like a grown up, mature, Vizsla bitch. But she’s still oozing with personality and thinks everyone she meets wants her to stop and wiggle for them. Since Karma was in heat, we separated the family for the month. Marc stayed at the house with Indy and Schmav, and Jenny and Karma stayed at Jenny’s condo. Condo living requires daily walks through Wash Park, Alamo Placita, or Hungarian Park. As an aside, Karma loves to sneak a jump into the fountain at Hungarian Park — does she know that park is for her homeland?! Anyhow, on the many walks we have to take, Karma stops to allow people to pet her. She thinks this is all anyone desires in life, to pet her. And if someone doesn’t bend over to give her a pat, she turns on the wiggle. And the more they ignore her, the harder she wags — eventually, even the grumpiest people can’t help but smile. Karma’s desire to rid the world of strangers and turn everyone into a friend is just one of the many things we love about our girl.
Karma has also ventured into many things in her two years. She has 8 points and a major towards her conformation Championship, she is an AKC Junior Hunter, she had a ball entering field trials and she will soon be making her debut in AKC Agility.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our perfect girl. With Karma around, it promises to be full of promise, happiness, and most importantly, lots of wiggling. We love you Karm!
