Man, the last 4 years have FLOWN by! It’s hard to believe the wonder litter is 4 years old today, it seems like yesterday they were just little baby Vizslas. Checking out birds for the first time, growing into their skin, and completely changing our lives.
We are lucky to see Zeke quite a bit. In fact, we just saw him a couple weeks ago when we went over to visit two of his puppies. That’s right, Karma is an Auntie! We are very excited that these pups are staying here in Colorado…hopefully we see more of them soon! Zeke did well as first time Dad, passing on some birdy genes and handsome looks!
Back in June, we finally met Karma’s sister, Hana, in person. The girls are so similar. The funniest was when they tried hunting chukar from behind the dog park fence. Hana’s head is a little larger than Karma’s, but they still have this similarity about them. They walk the same, hold their ears the same, and have the same squish-face trick. Pretty darn cute.
And our little Karms. We tell her all the time — she is our sun, our moon, and our stars. She is our love and our light. It’s impossible to have a bad day with Karma around. She literally makes it impossible. Her cheery disposition brings out the best in everyone and we’ve lost track of how many people have asked to have her. Whenever we travel, the offers to babysit her are overwhelming; she is just an amazing dog. Such a gift in our lives. Karma was our first dog as a couple and raising her together has made us stronger as a duo.
