Big things, people, big things! Today, Karma qualified in both her Standard and Jumpers run, earning her 4th double Q! This was a pretty big deal for a few reasons:
-
It’s a freaking QQ! Only 16 more for her agility championship!
-
It completed her QQ requirements for Nationals
-
It completed her Master leg requirements for Nationals.
So, yay! All Karma lacks to qualify now is 264 points. Totally do-able 🙂
This weekend’s trial was especially nice as the Mile High Agility Club of Boulder hosted it in conjunction with the Denver County Fair. It was pretty cool to have the public there to cheer us all on, laugh at our silly moments, and celebrate beautiful weaves. We were also allowed to check out the fair, so the down-time between runs went by quickly! There were some really cool art exhibits that we checked out and yummy street tacos. We stopped short of the pie-eating contest 🙂 The other great part about the County Fair is the location — National Western which is only about 8 minutes from the house! It was really nice to be able to sleep in a little bit more.
Our next trial isn’t until the end of the month, but our goal will be 13 points a day at all the trials we are entered at to hit the 264 points we need for Nationals. Wish us luck!
