Heather, Ginger, and Jenny in front of the iconic Biltmore Estate!
Yesterday the only dog entered was Gunner, so after he showed we actually had time to finally visit the Biltmore! It lived up to the hype! We could have stayed hours longer. It really just draws you in! Jenny’s favorite room was either the library or the pool, and the gardens were breathtaking!
Today was Karma’s last day of showing and Jenny actually showed her to 2nd place in the Hunting Bitch class! What a great National for Karma. She placed in every single one of her National entries. We couldn’t be more proud.
This National we finally got to meet a fellow Vizsla owner, Stevie Duffek, in person! We’ve been talking training together for a couple years and she sends Jenny a handwritten letter after every National for doing the ribbons (which is typically a thankless job!) even when she isn’t there competing. Looking forward to seeing what else she and young Kozi take on, and we did get a picture of our special K’s — Karma & Kozi with all their ribbons from the National!
But the big event was showcasing our Karma in the All Star Review. But for a quick break before All Star, Jenny and Ginger again ventured into town for dinner. Tonight it was Tapas & Tempranillo at Curate! Totally hit the spot!
Karma qualifies for the ASR as a Champion and Master Hunter and took a spin around the ring with her co-owner Tad again. This was a bittersweet ASR as her Dad Tok won Best Veteran in Review last year and this was Tad’s first year not showing him. She and Tad looked great together — she’s the absolute best.
