Well, Jenny arrived in Reno without any big events. Thank goodness for the Audible app and some good thrillers! It made the long drive in a silent car with sleeping dogs zip right by! When she pulled up, it had been raining in Reno all day, so the dogs made a quick stop at a local park to stretch their legs and get in a good run before heading to Marc’s parents house.
Today we had our warm-up run and Karma was fantastic, but Jenny knocked a bar! Whoopsie, and kinda comedic! After our run, Jenny headed back to Marc’s parents house and picked up Halo, Indy, and Schmav who spent the day with their Grandparents. Our friends Katherine & Dale and Steve & Mary were all sharing an AirBnB that backed up to open space, so Jenny headed over there to meet them and let everyone stretch their legs with Mary and Steve’s V, Chaz. Chaz LOVED Halo, and she always loves getting attention from boys!
On the drive up to open space, Jenny had thought the area looked kinda like where Marc’s sister and her family lived, so after the run, she plugged their address into her phone and sure enough, their house was only about a mile away. So an impromptu visit was had and then Jenny headed straight from there to pick up Marc from the airport. Finally, a complete pack! From the airport, we found a Mexican restaurant so Jenny could have a lucky QQrita heading into the NAC tomorrow!
