Penny, Karma, and Halo are ready to get hunting. Indy too — see his face on the other side of the gate?!
Woo-hoo!! We got Baby Halo’s health tests back today, and…..she has “Good” hips and “Normal” elbows! We are still waiting on her Thyroid test, but we went ahead and scheduled her eye test appointment. Kinda crazy to think that we will likely have the all clear to breed her by the end of the year! We have some high hopes but will try not to get too excited…TRY.
We’ve also had a pretty fun couple of weekends. We got in some bird work last weekend and then we got our friends, Molly & Jason’s, Penny for the weekend. Penny is closely related to Halo and those two are like carbon copies of each other. Kinda cracks us up. They bark the same, love tennis balls the same, and pout the same. Too funny. Penny has joined in on all the activities this week including more bird time, a couple hikes, and snuggling with Marc. Halo is not so sure about sharing “her” person!
And to make today even more fun, Halo’s half-brother, Manning stopped by for a visit! Manning belongs to Sarah Wintrone — Halo’s handler! She loved Halo so much she went to Kathy Rust (Halo’s breeder) and asked for her very own Halo clone. We gotta say, Manning is totally a male version of Halo. They were super cute together!
We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are feeling extra thankful for our Vizsla family 🙂
Karma wiggling her way back with her retrieve and Penny sacked out after all the bird work!
